Web design workflow, a brief insight

Web design workflow is mainly focused on the entire web design and is all about the development process of it from defining the scope of work, wireframing, designing, production, testing and post launch maintenance. Most of the workflows don’t describe as much what does on during the process which is seen as vital to know about this information and by noticing someone else’s web workflow, it allows to have a better understanding of how a designer approaches the design of a new project and the approach is based on four fundamental components that are sketch, moodboard, design and revision.

The use of wireframing is known to be the sketch of the project to get a structure and a solid foundation of where the project will go. Next there is brainstorming which allows the designer to jot down ideas in a rough form. Then, the moodboard comes in which focuses on the aesthetics and the principals of the business observing the ideas in more of an authentic point of view of the whole process into creating the product and also allows the designer to design what they have gathered from the previous steps thanks to the sketches done at the beginning, the ideas brainstormed and the moodboard giving a more realistic point of view of where the project will end up with which in the end, it leads to the revision of the website to see what went well and what else could be added/removed in the project. This kind of workflow allows the productivity to be increased and the creativity to be boosted in the process.
